IGF 2022 IS3C IS3C General Meeting: outcomes and recommendations

Format description: In its General Meeting IS3C will present on the outcomes and / or intermediate results achieved during the 17th IGF cycle. All working groups: 1. Security by design - Internet of Things; 2 Education & skills and 3. Procurement and supply chain management, will present on their outcomes and / or their progress towards recommendations for the deployment of internet standards and related best practices. During the meeting any other urgent business will be discussed, as may proposals for new working groups for 2023.

Description

The session is a General Meeting for all members and interested organisations and individuals in which each IS3C WG presents its results and projected work for the future. Each WG chair will present the groups outcomes and recommendations and answer questions. Also, next steps will be announced on how the recommendations, toolkits and policy guidelines are to be translated into actions. To achieve this, the session preparation will include meetings with inter-governmental organisations to share and discuss ideas on next steps. Results will be announced in this session.

People in situ and online will be treated equally and be given the floor either live or through the chat followed by the online moderator. The online moderator will host the meeting on equal footing with the in situ moderator.
