At this year's IGF, we hope to showcase in the IGF Village the work and achievements of the China Federation of Internet Societies (CFIS) in promoting the construction of cyber civilization, the development of the digital economy, the self-discipline of the Internet industry, and the protection of children in the online environment. As the only social organization in China's cyber and information field that has been granted the special consultative status by the United Nations Economic and Social Council, the CFIS is committed to promoting international exchanges and cooperation in the Internet industry. On the one hand, it has carried out in-depth cooperation with international organizations such as the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women). It actively organizes and participates in various international Internet summits and forums, including the IGF, the United Nations Human Rights Council, the ASEAN ICT Forum, and the World Internet Conference, sharing China's cutting-edge policies and innovative concepts in the governance of the Internet, and contributing Chinese wisdom and solutions to creating a fair, just and open global digital space order. On the other hand, it participates in the discussion and formulation of relevant rules in the international Internet field, conducts research projects in the cyber and information field, and launches public welfare initiatives related to the Internet, working hand in hand with the world to build a community with a shared future in cyberspace. As an important social force driving the development of China's Internet industry, the CFIS has successively held four sessions of the China Cyber Civilization Conference and four sessions of the China New E-commerce Conference. At the same time, it participates in events such as the World Internet Conference and the National Cyber Security Week. Focusing on the cutting-edge issues in the Internet industry, such as the construction of cyber civilization, the development of the e-commerce economy, the development of artificial intelligence, cyber culture, cyber security, and the protection of minors online, it endeavors to create a favorable atmosphere in which everyone can offer suggestions and participate in the construction of the Internet. In addition, the CFIS has always paid great attention to the growth of children in the online environment in the era of artificial intelligence, focusing on how artificial intelligence technology can benefit children and the new challenges it poses to the protection of children's rights. We have held meetings and put forward initiatives to promote the formulation of relevant standards for the application of artificial intelligence for children, and launched the research project of "Investigation on Children's Online Security Needs". The CFIS has also launched the "@Sprout" Public Welfare Action Plan for the Protection of Minors Online, and jointly implemented various innovative public welfare projects with relevant domestic and foreign institutions. Currently, more than 30 public welfare activities in five categories have been carried out, including publicity and education, forum activities, improvement of literacy, public welfare funding, and international exchanges. Online, it has reached over one million minors, and offline, it has benefited nearly 30,000 minors. In September this year, we plan to hold an international seminar on the protection of minors online, inviting experts, scholars and front-line workers from various countries to share their experiences, exchange ideas, and explore ways to respect and protect children's right to participation. At the same time, we have also cooperated with the United Nations Children's Fund to carry out the project of collecting corporate cases of "Responsible Technological Innovation for the Service of Minors", and we also hope to take this opportunity to showcase our relevant work achievements at the IGF. The CFIS currently has more than 500 member units, covering companies such as Alibaba, Tencent, JD.com, and ByteDance. These units have made corresponding contributions to the development of the Internet industry in 14 sectors, including cyber security, cyber communication, and e-commerce. We will also showcase their styles and achievements at our booth.
