At the booth, we plan to showcase the Digital Public Goods Standard - a globally recognized framework designed to maximise consensus about whether a digital solution conforms to the definition of a digital public good. Digital public goods are open-source software, open data, open AI systems, and open content collections that adhere to privacy and other applicable best practices, do no harm, and are of high relevance for attainment of the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The booth will include: - Interactive Standard Walkthrough: A visual, step-by-step guide to the DPG Standard, highlighting core indicators (e.g., open licensing, data privacy, documentation requirements). - Live Demo of the DPG Nomination & Review Process: An interactive screen where visitors can explore how solutions are evaluated against the Standard. Success Stories & Case Studies: Posters and digital displays showcasing real-world DPGs that have scaled impact through alignment with the Standard (e.g., MOSIP, OpenIMIS). - AI & Data Governance in DPGs: Insights into the latest updates to the Standard, including guidelines for responsible AI, ethical considerations, and best practices for AI DPGs. - Community Engagement & Policy Insights: Materials on the DPG Standard Expert Group and ongoing policy work, inviting attendees to join consultations and contribute to Standard improvements. - Resource Library: Handouts, toolkits, and QR codes linking to the DPG Standard documentation, Community of Practice resources, and governance materials. This setup will allow attendees to understand the DPG Standard, learn how to get their digital solutions recognized as DPGs, and engage with the evolving digital public goods ecosystem.
