He held various top management positions as well as was a founder and shareholder in a certain number of software and system integration companies. Since 2007, Denis Sverdlov has been the CEO of Yota ("Scartel") since 2007. In 2011, Mr Sverdlov was listed in GTB (Global Telecoms Business) Forty Under Forty list of the most successful entrepreneurs under forty. In 2012, Denis Sverdlov has been appointed Deputy Minister of Communications and Mass Communications of Russia.
