Greetings everyone,
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1DHV8VhlzCp_bnd6fsjBBwDq2XKtS51Jtn2i-JmoEKug/edit?usp=sharing
As Aaron and I continue to draft the business practices section, in the
meantime I would like to encourage people on this list who work for or run
ISPs, in particular, to contribute edits to Section 4.A. The best practices
described thus far include:
1.
Plan for deployment - review your existing infrastructure
2.
Aim for IPv6-only or dual stack by default
3.
Determine the IPv6 readiness of your vendors
4.
Train employees
5.
Consider pricing incentives
6.
Inform customers and partners about IPv6
7.
Set internal deadlines
8. Anticipated the unexpected (i.e. set $ aside)
Many thanks!
You'll also see that I've filled out the Table of Contents for the previous
sections - the document is coming along.
Sincerely,
Susan
