[IGFmaglist] ICG Announces Call for Public Comment on IANA Stewardship Transition Proposal

Dear MAG members,

as many of you are aware, on March 14, 2014, the U.S. Commerce Department’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) announced its intent to transition the stewardship of key Internet functions to the global multistakeholder community. 

Today, the 31st of July, the IANA Stewardship Transition Coordination Group (ICG), of which I am a member, is launching a Public Comment period for the proposed Proposal. The ICG is asking the public to review the Proposal. Comments are due by 8 September 2015 at 23:59 UTC.  Relevant links below, and note there are two webinars planned.
