Good morning, my apologies for late due to the time difference.

I am very pleased to hear from the Secretariat and MAG members, and would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to your kind words.

As well, congratulations to Lynn for being reappointed as the MAG Chair. Congratulations to all the other new MAG members, too.

I also appreciate everyone in the United Nations who got actively involved in the 2017 IGF/MAG election while busy.

As a Japanese private sector, a member of the Japanese delegation to the UNCSTD/WGEC, and a member of the APrIGF/MSG, I look forward to working together with all of you in the future. Especially, I would like to learn a lot from all of you and contribute actively for a successful IGF 2017 and later.

Unfortunately, I cannot participate in the MAG meeting this week in person, but try to join online.

The IGF 2017  MAG has been approved by the Secretary-General’s office.

Ms. Lynn St. Amour has been re-appointed as the MAG Chair.
