[DC] [REMINDER] Volunteering for the DCs Booth!

Hi Judy,

Thanks to you for volunteering! You raise a very good point about the
times - indeed multiple people can be at the booth at once, and this is
better than a person being alone, I would think.

The priority is to have as many slots as possible "covered", but if anyone
wants to write themselves into a slot that already has a name, please do
so!

Best to All,
Eleonora

Hello Eleonora/All

thank you for the rminder, is there a way that there can be two people in
the booth at any given time? am ooking at my schedule and I realize that
the remaining slots I will be actively participating in sessions, however,
if the session ends at 1500hrs and the schedule reads 1400hrs-1600hrs ,can
one come in from after 1530hrs until 1730hrs?

thank you once again

And many thanks to the new volunteers who signed up. Giving your time to
this is deeply appreciated!

All the best,

Dear All,

As the meeting is fast approaching (very fast!), we will need to finalize
some names of those who would be willing to volunteer to sit at the DCs
shared booth in the IGF Village.

I would just like to recognize the DC members who either signed up early
on in our original planning document or who have otherwise communicated to
the Secretariat that they would volunteer. Heartfelt thanks to Renata
Aquino Ribeiro, Deirdre Williams, Judy Okite, Marie-Laure Lemineur and
Jeremy Malcolm! We hope you will still be able to give your precious time
and energy to this during the meeting.

With the IGF schedule firmly in place and each participant mapping out the
sessions they will attend, the new volunteer sign-up sheet specifies
blocks of time for scheduling convenience: two 2-hour blocks each morning,
and two 1.5-hour blocks each afternoon, on Days 0 through 4.

Please do consider dedicating a little free time in your schedules to the
booth, bearing in mind that this represents an excellent opportunity to
both highlight the overall work of DCs in the IGF, and to promote your own
DC!

*As was mentioned in previous DC meetings, you may commit the name of your
DC if you are not sure yet which individual member would be able to make
it. If you cannot stay for the block's duration, that's ok! Please
indicate this in the sheet and we can find a kind colleague to take over.

With thanks and best wishes to all,

Eleonora
