    What will participants gain from attending this session? The participants will benefit from attending this workshop is the exchange of ideas and opinions on how to develop laws, decisions and proposals to protect personal data and human rights on the Internet and contribute effectively to protecting human rights on the Internet in the digital age. Also introducing the weakness of freedoms, freedom of expression, and protection of personal data in third world countries, especially Sudan

    The aim of this workshop is to hold consultations, discussions, and find out ideas with experts from the participants in this workshop, in order to make it possible
    Impact ful interventions and activities to promote and protect human rights and fundamental freedoms in the digital age in a manner consistent with the policy objectives of the United Nations. The results of this study are expected to benefit the decision-making process at the United Nations regarding financing future interventions related to the promotion and protection of human rights, fundamental freedoms and the protection of personal data in the digital age. To achieve these goals, this workshop will answer these questions
    Question 1: What is the current landscape for interventions to promote human rights and fundamental freedoms online?
    Question 2: What are the advantages, disadvantages, barriers and enablers that characterize different interventions and approaches to promoting human rights and fundamental freedoms online?

    Expected Outcomes

    Among the expected results of the outcomes of this workshop: Urging the United Nations to create a mechanism to implement its resolutions, obliging third world countries to commit to protecting human rights in the digital space, raising awareness of these rights in third world countries and their peoples, by creating appropriate mechanisms to achieve these goals, and holding workshops and seminars in third world countries.

    Hybrid Format: 1- Providing discussion opportunities for everyone and encouraging them to participate and interact.
    2- Firstly, providing the opportunity for participants within the workshop, and secondly, giving more time to participants via the Internet.
