Nighat Dad is a human rights lawyer and founder of the Digital Rights Foundation, which leads efforts against online harassment and advocates for privacy and free expression focusing on Global South. Under her leadership, DRF is pioneering work on spyware accountability in South Asia. She also serves on the Meta Oversight Board and the UN Secretary-General’s AI Advisory Panel.
