I am really sorry to hear that too, Avri. I filled out the application on
line, and then submitted my documents in Chicago, and so far it looks good,
and hasn't been too much of a hassle, especially since I live in a
different state from the consulate (sounds like part of your problem too).
I am checking my status online - it is in processing, and I am hoping for
the magical 'approved' soon.
