Dynamic Coalition on AI Call for Essays

The IGF Coalition on Data and Artificial Intelligence Governance (DAIG) is inviting researchers and practitioners to submit essays focused on AI initiatives and experiences from the global majority by 25 August 2024.

Authors are urged to explore case studies analysing initiatives promoting equitable development and access to AI technologies; data privacy and security in the context of AI; AI transparency, explicability, and accountability; regulatory frameworks; and cultural implications of AI adoption. Particularly, authors are encouraged to focus on such issues from the perspective of global majority populations, which are often underrepresented in discussions of data and AI governance.
