The Next Generation Internet (NGI) is a European Commission initiative that aims to shape the development and evolution of the Internet into an Internet of Humans. An Internet that responds to people’s fundamental needs, including trust, security, and inclusion.
The booth theme will be around Self-Sovereing Identities, we a focus on Internet governance around digital sovereignty. We would like to present the NGI initiative and funding schemes, and also showcase success stories from the project, bringing in some SSI experts funded by NGI.
Depending on the online booth characteristics, we would like to use different formats: live streaming content if possible (if not, pre-recorded video content such as conferences, keynotes and interviews around SSI), recorded webinars presenting topics around internet governance and the NGI, digitally printed materials (brochures and booklets in .pdf format), links, and one-to-one assistance and meetings, to the extent possible.
