Policy strategist and Internet law expert, Lucien Castex works at the intersection of law and technology with a focus on trust, cybersecurity and Internet governance. Representative for public policy of AFNIC and associate researcher at Université Sorbonne Nouvelle, Lucien has a deep knowledge in France and in the European Union on information technology and digital rights issues and a strong experience of bilateral and multi-stakeholder negotiations. He is a member of the French national consultative commission on human rights (CNCDH) and of the Internet Society France.
Lucien has been appointed in the Multistakeholder Advisory Group (IGF MAG) by the United Nation Secretary-General in 2019 and is leading, as co-chair, the French Internet Governance Forum.
