Ms. Alejandra Erramuspe works for Agency for e-Government and Information Society, Office of the President of Uruguay. She has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology. Also, she is a Social Psychologist and Iyengar Yoga instructor. Committed to innovation within the State, for 20 years she has worked in the design and assessment of public policies, aiming at optimizing citizens’ life quality. For the last three years, she has been working in the Agency for the e-Gov and the Information & Communication Society (AGESIC), working on information society and Internet governance issues. Currently, she leads the corporate communication team.
Alejandra Erramuspe has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and she is a Social Psychologist. Also holds a master in Public Politics. Committed to innovation within the State, for 20 years she has worked in the design and assessment of public policies, aiming at optimizing citizens’ life quality.
For the last three years, she has been working in the Agency for the e-Gov and the Information & Communication Society (AGESIC), leading the corporate communication team and the area of Internet Governance. She actively represents Uruguay in regional and global events, as well as in many working groups, related to Internet Governance. Committed to this field of knowledge, she is a nominated GAC (ICANN) Representative from Uruguay. She participates in IGF meetings, and since 2014 she is a member of the LACIGF Executive Committee.
Alejandra is a tireless advocate for the model of multiple stakeholders on equal terms, to ensure a democratic and collaborative Internet governance, that respects the principles of freedom of expression and defense of human rights.
