>> This is the captioner.  I'm having a really hard time hearing the person speaking.  The sound is very, very low.

>> When you look at the gender inclusion goal, one of the things that we feel very strongly is that ICT(?) of advancing.  It can be important ‑‑ there is no question there are quality goals towards quality.  There is also (?) (low sound) both in perspective.  We can institute and we would be $12 trillion in terms of GDP development by 2025 that we were able to bring more into the economic mainstream.  So I think what we will talk about today are the different perspectives from different stakeholders and the economic empowerment of women.  ICT recently has done some calls of work when all this was questioned.  One of the most interesting piece that we found to illustrate is the goal of different stakeholders in ICT development and quality.  It is being affected and impactful (?).  So I hope this would be very well diverse and (?) for opportunities to explore that.  (low voice/sound) good morning.  Can you hear?  So while we work on that, I will move ahead and come back to (?) to expiration we want to do is looking at how we can advertise in economic empowerment.  The stakeholders were playing and talking.  So I will (?).

>> Thanks very much (low voice/sound) (extremely low voice) (low voices)

>> Many of you know it stands for open connected secure trusted Internet.  That is original (?).  Now since part of that (Multiple speakers at once) I hear stories only.  So Josephine released that in Kenya (?).  She works with an organization called (?).  We supported them with some finding, which is a free wireless network that has predefined community there.  It is used by community for improvement of their community.  We actually use the network for training education sessions, content creation.  They create Wikipedia entrances and use open source moves to change and they also create interesting pieces.  (Multiple speakers at once) (?) what the tunes are for creating interest.  What they actually see is that (?) about 80% of their reference they need multi‑national (?) so basic training is very, very (?).  So what we see is that ICT (?) a video.  (?) the role that ISOC has made in the transition on that is obviously for naming access for everyone on the Internet.  We have the international forum and to increase for women in discussions.  They also encourage the environment and access can be an alternative way.  As I mentioned, the community networks have pushed total communities of current (?) to invest in financial reasons and others.  They have an environment where it was alternative ways of Connectivity which is very, very important (?).  So we have a couple of initiatives that I also wanted to share.  It is open for everyone to join.  So this is advertising.  It's an amazing and dynamic group of women who decided they wanted to have a case to communicate with each other and have their communities and beyond.  It's not women only (?) to be ‑‑ it's important to say they formed these relationships.  It is (?) we are also a partner of the equal partnership for ITU and women.  And with the partnership goals, they're trying to find an easier approach to reach us and relate to access skills, leadership to find gender equality.  Those are some of the things that society is helping to try (?).

>> Thank you very much.  I am told (low voice) (no sound)

>> Hello, everyone.  Hi, everyone.  Sorry about the technical difficulties.  We can (?) I believe.  Okay.  So we're still struggling with technical difficulties.  We work harder to resolve that.  We're working very hard on technical connections and connectivity and I'm sure we'll get there.  In the mean time, I'd like to go and find a little bit about who we got in the room.  So if you look at some of the examples and ideas around using ITT to leverage, tell me if you have examples or experiences to share.  And any more organizations for the government, are you charged with project activities that are necessary?  And so then I'm going to ask those of you that are coming in as much as you'd like to know and are seeking ideas or inspirations (?) that are in the room.  All right.  Great.  Well, we will hopefully try and satisfy all those different needs.

I'm going to turn to ‑‑ (multiple speakers at one) that is one of our co‑organizers working with an organization that's trying to take some of the (?) (low voice)

>> This is not possible.  Based on time (?).  (low voice) and then we (?) because of some time they happen in the case code (?).  You can sit out a month and (?) (low voice)

>> Thank you very much.  (low voice) we give them a chance to (?).

>> (?) to talk about.  I want to take a minute (?) (low voice) (?) to address this challenge (?) (low voice) and so we have (?) approaches asked about this problem.  (low voice) and programs that would take the skills.  There are different approaches (low voice) but I thought I would give you (?) and we can talk about the function (low voice).  That's our program (?) (low voice) e centric as it was designed to address the fact we should have access to the Internet (?) (low voice) there are trusted people (?) and then they train (low voice).  To date, this program (?) around driven (low voice).  So yeah.  You have to say (?) (low voice) it's little stories to building our nation.  Let's just sort of go back to lessons and experiences.  Again, (?) (low voice) artificial processor and (?) (low voice) to take advantage.  So local partnerships and contacts (low voice)

>> We are going to now hear from (?) (low voice) (low voice) (extremely low voice)

>> Thank you so much, Kate.  (?) useful material and probably many, many more questions.  I will (?) to ask questions of any of the speakers so far.  (?) you are experiencing (?)

>> Thank you.  (?) for the second operators there.  This is a reservation that's been mitigations in the Internet.  (?) largely they have access and are looking at ICT persisting.  I don't think there are areas that we make those conversations taking place offline and case by case (?) offline.  Many of these are about violence.  We have (?) is a topic (?) even when we're looking at projects and they cannot stop me.  Energy power access to a device where they are working and have control of that device.  A lot of times when we're seeing choices we made whether it's the (?) is often the access of technology (?).  When we see these conversations, you look at the cultural barriers and social economic aspects where you are creating safe spaces and just talk and stop sharing experiences.  So that the steps of the equal access to the Internet and then to how the internet is shaping choices and a lot of them to make (?).  Not even start the small conversations with help that we have and even access to open to the understanding that (?) is not accessible.  So one of the biggest challenges is common concerns they have over issues.  Out of that, only 26% (?).  Instead of looking at the economic (?), it is seeing spaces and also conversations around.  The fact there would be no shame to go online.  So the social stigma of reclaiming public spaces and then becoming your own person and then actualizing your potential and ability for certain expression and (?) where the idea that you're entitled to be your own person is what has been defeating the conversation around economic department.  Funding is (?).  If you're not at the table, you are going to be complimenting.  Population such as (?) come together and empower, there's a small contribution that will be concerning.  (?)

>> Thank you very much.  I think we're going to hear from Reema Nanavaty.  Can you hear us?  We can hear you.  Thank you for (?).

>> REEMA NANAVATY:  (speaking) (low voice)

>> Thank you so much for taking the time and sharing that with us.  It's been a great contribution to our session so far.  I am very pleased to have our next (?) been able to join us in the line up.  (?) to talk a little bit about their experiences (?).

>> Hello, everyone.  (low voice) (?)

>> So very, very briefly.  I'll be talking about digital centers program.  (?) and then also (?) (low voice) okay.  So the training programs are actually focused on (?).  So they're really important to create (inaudible) and oriented to it.

>> (?) (Speaking non‑English language)

>> In the program, they're doing the digital house.  They have a training (?) who are producing and they're building a platform for their products on the market.  And so once they train people, they're able to test to our community and they launched now a digital platform.  As a result (?) how to be artisan by 70%.

>> (Speaking non‑English language)

>> All right.  (?) very, very strong point, which is there's (?) going on across the region.  With this initiative, they are able to work together across the boarders on these projects and have the same idea and information that also puts together (?).  A large motivator, one of the (?) is the (?) that the orientation like we were pursuing for freedoms of pursuit of problems.  They are boosting their confidence and update their family and helping social problems.  Share your optimism that we are at an age of (?).  Work with possible liberties.  Open it toward questions from the floor or additional remarks for any of the speakers.  We invite you to (?).

>> My question is this:  All (?) and then we have to (?)

>> (low voice)

>> Okay.  So are there other people (?) (low voice)

>> (low voice) (?) my question is how to encourage Private Sectors (?)

>> (low voice)

>> A question I will ask our panel is for anyone who wants to (?) or (low voice)

>> (?) the technology and I have a 6‑year‑old and (?) it's a boy.  It's interesting especially on the last question.  I see that is something (?).  At home I work (?) and it should be and I feel very fortunate to have a very strong (?) at home.  My husband and I (?).  Having said that, state color is red.  So it startled me and I say the color (?).  We never actually told him that at home, but his friends and teachers after school actually told him that.  There are things for girls and there are things for boys.  When you look at it, I think that's (?).  If you look at online things, I would say 99% of the games were attributed to boys.  You look at legal offline, very often it is hard to find a girl they go over or whatever the thing.
