Debating the Future of Global Environmental Data Governance in the Age of Uncertainty
This session, organized with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), will focus on the future governance of environmental data in the age of uncertainty. The outcomes of the debate will inform the design process of UNEP’s Global Environmental Data Strategy. It will specifically consider environment data in terms of how it may differ from other forms of public data, safeguards that are needed for generating environmental data and environmental data help us navigate a world of uncertainty and contribute to resilience.
