    This 'lightning talk 'will resemble a Workshop Style where two speakers, listed above, will highlight the title. The speakers will be: 1. Mahendranath Busgopaul, Mauritius IGF Coordinator, will provide the descriptive aspect of how children look at Internet Governance and will also highlight what the 100+ Pax of the IGF 2020 event think about same. The recommendations to take forward from children's view point will be highlighted. 2. Taran Boodhoo, Youth Coordinator of Africa-Indian Ocean Island States IGF (Af IOS) will come up with description of the realities among young people. His presentation will showcase examples from the awareness campaign targeting young people, launched in the sub region after the hosting of the IGF 2020 event. The session will be of a duration of thirty (30) minutes and will include presentations and a Q&A session. Language will include English & French.

    Description

    This session will be in the Focus Area and Emerging & Cross Cutting Issue: Inclusive Internet governance ecosystems and digital cooperation. This session will highlight 'what citizens of Africa-Indian Ocean island States' think about Internet Governance, based on their participation in 2020 IGF event in this sub regional event. The recommendations and the specified title of the presentation is highlighted in the sub regional IGF 2020 report: http://halleymovement.org/launch-of-report-what-citizens-of-the-world-and-mauritius-think-about-the-future-of-internet-governance/ The speakers will be: 1. Mahendranath Busgopaul, Mauritius IGF Coordinator, will provide the descriptive aspect of how children look at Internet Governance and will also highlight what the 100+ Pax of the IGF 2020 event think about same.     This session can be a hybrid one. This IGF has experience in both physical and online participation of participants. Mauritius & Afr IOS IGF has also participated as speaker even in the online Remote Hub IGF 2020.
