The approval of equal marriage in Ecuador unleashed a series of criticisms against those who led the fight for its legalization, and the first year of its approval we will analyze the interactions on Twitter, types of attack, the effect it had on the cause and its leaders, and forms of resilience they adopted.
How is the fight for LGBT people to have access to the right to marriage in a country with more than 90% religious population? We will recount what this hard fight meant, which continues, and what its impact was with data from Twitter on the anniversary of its legalization
