IGF 2022 Village Booth #42 AFRICAN CHILD PROJECTS

Description

The School Connectivity project (“SchoolConnectivity”) conducted in partnership with Basic internet Foundation (Norway), Vodacom Tanzania Foundation, Universal Communication Service Access Fund, University of Dar es salaam and Dar es salaam Institute of Technology. This project aims at scaling up the success from providing access to educational information through the Internet to schools. Installing the internet in schools addresses both capabilities of students to get access to educational content, providing teachers with additional information on the syllabus and performing their administrative tasks. Up to date we have connected 60 schools in rural Tanzania and are going for phase 3 of the project to reach 200 schools.
