    Description:

Mauritius IGF will showcase its experience together with its concluded actions in working regionally in the sub-African region at combatting online child sexual exploitation. This session will showcase how advocacy and capacity building activities help the community at large to become empowered and more confident whist dealing with internet governance. The session participants will become more aware on: how child sexual abuse is prevalent in the online world, what is fake news & other related items, how to deal with victims of online child sexual exploitation and eventually becoming more vigilant on internet usage.

    Expected Outcomes

    1. Increasing awareness of the risks of online Child Sexual Exploitation, reducing stigma around reporting and supporting initiatives that help prevent child sexual exploitation on the internet. 2. Protecting victims from further abuse through victim identification and providing support services for victims and survivors. 3.
