    Policy Question(s)

There is a rapid digital revolution happening with GenZ in the decentralized, access based interconnected mixed reality revolution, when revolutions start at a touch of a button and ages of cyberwarefares, manufactured consents, deep fakes, misinformation and disinformation how do we restructure the core elements of modern progressive digital literacy schemes with more human lenses and orientation?

The inevitability of digital skills in the formation of the structures of modern knowledge and logical reasoning from civics digital democracies, rights and revolutions, to evolutionary biology with crispr and deeper computational power with quantum computing, to the modern interconnected realities a new fabric of culture of the metaverse, how do we include digital realities, wisdom, knowledge to the fabric of human evolution?

in the most simplest expressions what are digital skills in these epoch of the internet revolution, access age?

Connection with previous Messages: Our session is a continuation of our debate of continuous rapidly changing sentiments and meaning of digital literacy and it’s intersection to youth, the emerging labor force and policy needs as a significant pillar of an open, equal and accessible internet for all.
Its a proof of work narrative that takes shape from we the youth at IGF showing our maturity, dedication to duty and mindset decision making ability and advocates on the whole internet and technology ecosystem from 2018 to date, with 3 workshops organized on the topic on the IGF, 3 at rightscon and numerous integrations in creating formidable progress change as we are benefactors of digital literacy schemas acting as tipping points to further more meaningful connectivity that is trusted and has fewer ailments protecting the rights of all involved from utilizing the ecosystem, an internet we can trust and internet for all

Targets: Education is the most powerful tool one can use to change the world, Digital literacy is part of quality education a whole shift in mindset that can catapult civilization to new heights of equity, inclusion, philanthropy and improving the human condition. When we solve the puzzle of core elements needed for digital literacy we create informed decisions makers, autonomous agents of change and independent thinkers who have an awareness, operational capability and strategic vision of channeling local elements of community to leverage digital rights for progressive development economically, socially, politically and culturally.
New improved labor will heighten production reduce inequalities of technology usage and importation we have seen how connectivity has reduced inequality in Africa with our local innovation we are leaders in mobile money transactions , we have narrowed the poverty line, inclusion and diversity have empowered women in leadership and digital spaces advocating for change and rights. In the fourth industrial revolution our smart agenda to smart inclusive and resilient communities post pandemic has been possible with digital literacy our session uses the blueprint of SDGs to propose our argument in the potency of digital literacy and its position to civilization,
All chains on our minds are broken by knowledge, it’s the cradle of freedom

    Description:

Now revolutions are easily executed without the need of physical contact, Organizations are run and the business of world affairs conducted with virtual channels of collaboration.
The deeper the superstructure of ambitious human evolution is highly intertwined with connectivity, the omnipotentate of the internet is undeniable.
Though, challenges arise in its balance of power and authority as more communities find use cases from the presence, localization, ownership and maximum utilization of the internet, deeper division occurs and are accelerated by that rapid need of improved technologies for simplifying life and sustaining the capitalistic digital economy.
More access to unfiltered misinformation and disinformation across democratic channels that are crumbling, when digital freedoms have brought to the surface our flaws as humans?
Cyber Warfare and surveillance by institutions amongst themselves and to the people, rapid declining respect of personal freedoms and national sovereignty?
In the end the success factor of the myth of interconnected networks AKA the internet comes with its ever growing margin of era, which calls for the reimagination and reorientation of peoples attitudes, knowledge, philosophy, skill sets, mindsets and reasoning of the whole concept of human interconnectivity via the internet, this is how we get closer to connecting all people and safeguarding their interests.
This comes with reshaping digital literacy schemes, a digitally informed populace and generation offers independent factual reasoning and self sustenance economically and culturally.
The problems of the internet are beyond technical connectivity, access to unfiltered data today we battle manufactured consents, election rigging by social media, Online violence extremism and the overall decline of global morality and trust in one another due to digital draconian policy.
As young people who see this rise, our call is to be vocal and isolate this threat by using the intergenerational alliance fabric of internet governance multi stakeholder community as we probe to find answers and recommend best course of actions on how we reshape digital skills as a package of digital liberty and parcel of meaningful connectivity. We aim to analyse the properties and characteristics of the digital ecosystem and internet and correlate the elements that lead to causality of the internet's biggest errors our top 3 being Misinformation and Disinformation, Abuse of digital rights and liberties and Battling Internet fragmentation and birth of internet tribalism.
Our quest is to be the generation of woke equity advocates and fixers of the internet as it takes shape with new use cases and continuously impacting the lives of many as it has done to us, we haven't reached universal connectivity and the threat of a broken internet is imminent we need to connect the unconnected with an internet we benefitted and changed our lives from, the one which is safe, equal, open , end to end and decentralized with lesser viles than now, our people need to have these understandings and skills of reasons so they could have informed local decisions on utility of the internet for the good of all and advocates as its gatekeepers when the threat of division arises.

With increased subjectivity our session wants to inspire the core human element that is brought by inclusion and diversity a stepping stone to mutual understanding by being able to learn about one another and the platforms that connect, falling inlove to the undeniable beauty of equity and objectivity of the internet achieved by reimagined digital literacy for all, a cornerstone to achieve an internet for all.

Sometimes we need to remember the happy moments of connectivity how the revolution of the data era manifested new frontiers of human dignity, inclusion, happiness and liberated pursuit of duty in unity. We are the internet voices and our session will walk through this reminder to deeply connect us more and safeguard the best elements.
