Theatre Format
The rapid advancements in Generative AI (Gen AI) and Large Language Models (LLMs) are transforming creative and innovation-driven industries, posing complex challenges for intellectual property (IP) frameworks. This lightning talk session brings together experts to explore the evolving IP implications of these transformative technologies. From questions of authorship and ownership to the impact on patent systems and copyright protections, we will chart a course through uncharted territory at the intersection of Gen AI, LLMs, and IP. Participants will gain insights into the legal, ethical, and policy considerations necessary to foster inclusive digital innovation while upholding robust IP safeguards. Additionally, the session will touch on the technical aspects of Generative AI and LLMs, providing a well-rounded perspective on these cutting-edge topics.
Dual Moderation: We have assigned two moderators, one onsite and one online, to manage the flow of discussion and ensure everyone has an opportunity to contribute.
Hybrid Platform: We are aware that the IGF will utilize a reliable video conferencing platform that supports seamless interaction between onsite and online participants.
