The Alan Turing Institute is the UK's national institute for research and data science, and a world leader in developing resources and frameworks for AI Ethics and Governance. Its AI Ethics and Governance in Practice Programme consist of eight workbooks and an interactive online platform designed for interdisciplinary project teams working across the public sector to ensure ethical and responsible implementation of AI projects that accounts for the diversity of users and affected communities. The programme extensively covers the key concepts of a process-based governance framework by examining its application in different sectors, provides tools to facilitate the implementation of the framework, and includes dynamic group activities to support the delivery of the curriculum within organisations through peer-learning workshops. At our booth, visitors can expect: - An ongoing screening of a demo video showcasing the interactive platform. - Guidance briefs summarising the eight workbooks, each presented in a concise four-page format. - Flyers containing key information about the programme and a QR code linking to the interactive platform. - And an ethics and responsible AI expert who has co-developed the resources, who will be at the booth to walk visitors through the platform and workbooks.
