The Australian Government's Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts is the responsible Australian Government agency for Internet Governance. Australia’s proposed booth will centre on a new internet governance web project, to be launched at IGF 2024. This project shall share useful resources to the global community of Internet Governance public policy practitioners across a range of core topics, contributing towards ‘Building our Multistakeholder Digital Future.’ The booth will enable users to interact with the new project, speak with the project team, and invite the community to contribute feedback to inform its future development. Australia will also share a range of domestic and regional Internet-focused policy insights, including domestic approaches to core Internet public policy issues such as online safety and artificial intelligence governance, and regional perspectives such as capacity building and development projects. These components will invite knowledge sharing and global dialogue with all participants of IGF 2024.
