    Format description: The workshop event shall be shared for all the online and on-site audiences equally using the digital platform of presentation. Microsoft team digital platform and Zoom tools shall be used to make the session interactive and accessible for all. The session is best practice stream and the leaning insights from the participants in turn shall be adapted to improve utilization of AI generated digital innovation spaces for education transformation initiatives for scaling it in Africa. The presentation of the session shall be delivered in form of lighting talk in classroom format so that every participant alerted with the thematic contents encouraging an interactive session strategy applied during the presentation as well as roundtable convenience.     The policy questions addressed through proposal session include:
    How developing countries easily utilize the potential infrastructures like TELE -CLOUD for AI enhanced education transformation?
    How student centered -teaching is help students not drop out in countries of violent conflicts through cost efficient emergency education?
    How AI innovation Technology can make access to education for most vulnerable group of people?

    What will participants gain from attending this session? The participants gain an insight to maximize AI's positive impact on society, a responsible and ethical development that is grounded in human rights principles from this best practice of policies, standards, legislation, and regulation. Additionally, translating these to be a binding agreement would provide a stronger framework for safeguarding rights, promoting fairness, and mitigating risks associated with AI. The session shall provide technical knowledge to adapt AI -Enhanced education, to integrate it in the national education policy that is student centered, development of standards and regulations, share knowledge and best practices, and provide a platform for a multistakeholder exchange on how to develop common principles for the AI we want to ensure that we have the right institutions in place to partner and translate them into standards to transform AI enhanced and internet-driven education development. The national government identify key local internet provider to initiate the SMART education innovation.

    Description:

    AI generated education innovations increases the flexibility of delivery of education using internet so that learners can access knowledge anytime and from anywhere. It can influence the way students are taught and how they learn as now the processes are learner driven and not by teachers. This in turn would better prepare the learners for lifelong learning as well as to improve the quality of learning. It can improve the quality of teaching-learning and thus contribute to the development of Ethiopia. This paper presents the best practice of Ethiopia which is one of the fast growing countries, how harnessing the AI generated innovations for transforming education and effective gender inclusion in education in Africa. The Smart Education innovation for Transforming Education in Ethiopia Project is being implemented since 2023 by the partnership of Ethiotelecom(the largest internet provider) and Oromia Regional Government( a region with 40million population) in Ethiopia is the best practice transforming student-centered and gender inclusive education covered 415 class rooms in 18 Girls Boarding schools of the region now reaching 33,280 female students across the country. This best practice indicates the outcome of the public-private partnership here is customized as the best practice of Smart education innovations of education transformation in the country specific education policy implementation and AI drive education development and schools transformation programming in developing countries.

    The two national partners collaborated to transform education by adapting the AI generated Technology innovation driven open education practice in the girls boarding school systems in Ethiopia using the internet supply trended from the tele-cloud infrastructure whereas the government partner covered all the service cost of the internet provider. All the girl students able to access from their camp to the education courses, libraries, AI supported laboratories, examinations online, evaluations made online and all the grading without human intervention.

    Expected Outcomes

    The session is aimed at delivering various outputs in the multi-stakeholder internet governance practices taking the best practices of Ethiopia into account for global learning experiences for education transformation.
    The key expected outcome of the session;
    Building the capacity of the national education infrastructure sector to get better equipped with the strategic AI enhanced education transformative innovation tools and practices
    To strengthen the growing advocacy initiatives of internet governance in Africa able to amplify the right to connectivity as a human right issue in Africa
    To create a forum for the participants able to improve the education innovation leadership and AI generated Education innovation utilization capacity in the global digital compact through local private sector(Ethiotelecom) and government partnership to realize the vision of "the internet we want"
