    Targets: The session’s themes and objectives clearly reflect a strong commitment to achieving several of the (SDGs), below is an overview of how this session aligns with some of these goals: Goal 4: Quality Education: The session addresses the role of technology in empowering teachers and parents to monitor children’s online activities, fostering a safe educational environment and ensuring children receive responsible and secure digital education. Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure: The session highlights modern technologies such as blockchain and artificial intelligence in protecting intellectual property, thereby supporting innovation and strengthening sustainable digital infrastructure. Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities: The session focuses on protecting vulnerable groups, particularly children, in the digital environment, contributing to reducing the digital divide and ensuring equal opportunities for all in a secure digital space.     Session Description: With the rapid advancement of technology, it has become essential to strike a balance between innovation and digital responsibility to ensure a safe and sustainable digital environment. This session highlights the pivotal role of digital governance in enhancing cybersecurity, protecting individual rights, and ensuring the responsible use of modern technologies. Session Topics: 1. Protecting Children in the Digital Environment: - Showcasing the Digital Safety and Cybersecurity Platform, developed to enhance child protection in the digital space. - The role of technology and relevant stakeholders in empowering parents and educators to monitor children’s online activities and ensure a secure digital environment. 2. Intellectual Property Protection in the Digital Space: - Presenting "The Intellectual Property Verification" Initiative, aimed at protecting creative assets such as: Copyrights, Trademarks, Graphics and Images, Scientific Research. - Discussing the challenges related to intellectual property rights violations in the digital environment. 3. Modern Technologies and Their Role in Strengthening Digital Protection: - How can blockchain technology provide a reliable system for protecting intellectual property rights? - The role of artificial intelligence in assessing innovation and safeguarding creative content from infringement. - The importance of adopting digital policies and regulations that support innovation while protecting creators' rights. Session Objectives: - Highlighting best practices for protecting users, particularly vulnerable groups, in the digital space. - Discussing the role of modern technologies in safeguarding innovation and enhancing cybersecurity. - Strengthening collaboration among stakeholders to build a safer and more responsible internet. The session will conclude with practical recommendations on how to achieve a balance between innovation and digital responsibility, urging stakeholders to engage in adopting and implementing the proposed solutions for a secure and sustainable digital future.

    The session will be hybrid, so there will be a zoom link that permit the online participants to share their speech, follow and discuss during the session, and the online speakers will present their ideas via Share screen. There will be 4 speakers on site & others online, the session will take the form of an interactive dialogue in addition to some presentations, and at the end of the session the opportunity will open for questions, comments, and recommendations for all online & onsite participants. The session will need a share screen for the presentation slides, and we have our laptop & USB. At the end of the session, there will be a tribute to figures who had an influential impact on the digital transformation process and the consolidation of the concept of Internet governance. Important note: If a theatre is not available, we can replace it with a classroom.
