The world is experiencing an unprecedented digital transformation, where digital media has become a key pillar in shaping public opinion, disseminating knowledge, and fostering societal engagement. However, the growing challenges of disinformation, cybersecurity, and digital rights necessitate the adoption of new mechanisms to ensure the creation of a secure and trustworthy information ecosystem.
This high-level session will explore how to balance media freedom and digital technology, with a focus on the role of artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies in enhancing transparency and credibility while safeguarding individual rights in the digital environment.
Session Topics:
1. Digital Media in the Age of Artificial Intelligence:
o The role of AI in news analysis and combating disinformation.

2. Building Trust in the Digital Environment:
