    During our session, we will have a 10-minute presentation on the importance of IPR in Africa, 10 minutes on the role of stakeholders, and 10 minutes for questions and discussions.

    Description
    Our session on Digital Public Infrastructure and stakeholders aims to influence the consideration of DPI processes in Cameroon and Central Africa- at local and national levels - as well as shape conversation with relevant stakeholders. Also, the project aims to improve the governance of personal data and social justice in Cameroon. The project will improve the protection of human rights by building advocacy on DPI to reinforce several aspects of digital rights. The session will strengthen the rule of law and respect for citizens online by developing a healthy, safe, and responsible digital space. Global objectives: To influence the drafting/ reform of rights-respecting DPI policy in Cameroon and Africa. To raise awareness of the need for consideration of human rights in DPI processes. The overall objective of the session is to build a dynamic conversations, multi-stakeholder community that supports and enables inclusive and secure Digital Public Infrastructure at local and national levels.
