SDGs
16. Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions
17. Partnerships for the Goals
Targets: While the SDGs do not take into account that the world is becoming increasingly digital and lack corresponding goals to shape a sustainable digital future, we believe in partnership and cooperation (No. 17), peace, justice and strong institutions (No. 16). They are fundamental to the realization of all goals. As a regional Internet governance forum, it is in our DNA to foster collaboration between different stakeholders. While collaboration is on the agenda everywhere (e.g. at the GDC), we believe that much improvement is needed to turn lip service into action.

Description
We would like to discuss the EuroDIG messages with global stakeholders in the context of global power shifts and distortions.
We will explore new forms of cooperation that go beyond the WSIS+20 review.
Guiding questions are:
How can we ensure that the multistakeholder model persists and is not overrun by new realities?
What can NRIs do to provide a good basis for good exchange for all stakeholders?
How can copperation help to protect freedom of expression while tackling hate speech and extremist content?
Related sessions at EuroDIG will be:
