In summary, this session bridges the digital divide for older adults through AI, promoting both inclusivity (SDG 3.7) and technological advancement (SDG 9.b) to drive sustainable development.

    The rapid advancement of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) has transformed societies globally. However, the growing aging population faces significant challenges in the digital environment, including accessibility barriers and cybersecurity threats. According to the World Health Organization, over 1 billion people worldwide face difficulties due to disabilities, highlighting the urgent need for inclusive digital solutions. This session aims to highlight the critical role of AI in creating an inclusive digital society. By bringing together diverse stakeholders, it seeks to address the digital divide faced by older adults and promote a secure, accessible digital environment for all.

    The speakers will be all onsite and keep interaction with remote participants through 0&A. We will have onsite and remote moderator to interact with participants, and leave more time for Q&A or online interaction. Zoom and social networking tools will be used to promote the event and interaction.
