Description
This networking session invites participants from across regions to connect, exchange experiences, and build collaborative strategies to protect information integrity in electoral processes. From disinformation and foreign interference to platform manipulation and civic education, the session will explore shared challenges and innovative responses.
Participants will rotate through facilitated thematic tables, each focused on a key area of electoral information integrity. The format encourages dialogue between journalists, civil society, academia, researchers, electoral bodies, and tech actors, with an emphasis on grassroots knowledge-sharing and sustainable cross-border cooperation.
Participants choose or rotate among thematic tables, each focused on a specific challenge related to electoral information integrity. The session runs in a hybrid format, with both online and in-person participants engaged in parallel. Online breakout rooms mirror in-person tables, each with a dedicated facilitator to ensure full participation.
