    Description
This networking event follows up on the formal launch of the International User Community of Platform Internet Standards around the testing tool for internet standards deployment measurement. This network event will be an open, hybrid meeting of the community, to meet with IGF participants with an interest in the topic and potential new members to the community. The community consists of both experienced (re)users and interested new users of the internet standards testing tool. The community is fully aligned with the theme of the IGF: Building Digital Governance Together and its first subtheme, (Building) Digital Trust and Resilience. The event aims at hands-on discussions on the importance of and the measuring of internet standards adoption and the role that testing tools can have in raising awareness in and the actual deployment of internet standards. During the event a) a demonstration is given of the tool, b) we will exchange information and c) will discuss new ideas for (future) cooperation and coordination. The session will be wrapped up with a summary of gathered ideas and the opportunity for participants to sign up for the launched International Community. Important to note is that this session is open to anyone, whether they have participated in the community or not. With so many relevant, potential members for the new community present in Oslo, the IGF provides the ideal platform to grow this new internet cooperation body that has a strong focus on the governance of the internet and contributes to the security and stability of the internet. This session is a showcase of the strength of the IGF to foster international cooperation.
