This workshop will explore how AI can be leveraged to promote inclusivity, avoid deepening digital divides, and empower all segments of society, including underserved and marginalized communities. The session will discuss strategies for improving access to AI resources, fostering education, and building accountability frameworks to address concerns around potential risks. Showcasing best practices and diverse perspectives from policymakers, technologists, and civil society, the workshop will highlight actionable steps to harness AI for the common good while aligning with sustainable development goals (SDGs).

Expected Outcomes
By the end of this session, attendees are expected to have a shared understanding of the role of AI in fostering inclusivity and reducing digital divides. Participants will gain knowledge into strategies for promoting accountability, fairness, and transparency in AI systems. Moreover, attendees could be involved in further discussions about the same topic.
Hybrid Format: 1- We will integrate live Q&A sessions where both onsite and online attendees can submit questions via the platform.
2- The session will be designed to be dynamic, alternating between short presentations and interactive segments. This will ensure that both onsite and online participants remain engaged. Regular breaks for Q&A will encourage ongoing participation.
3- we are planning to use "Mentimeter" tool for interactive quizzes or audience feedback, allowing for live participation from both online and onsite groups in a fun and engaging way.
