As our reliance on digital technologies grows, so does the need to address the escalating challenges of online safety. This workshop focuses on discussing means to create safer online environments such as harmonizing regulations and fostering trust between users and digital platforms. It will explore innovative approaches to strengthen public-private collaboration and align efforts with national and international policies. Through diverse perspectives from law enforcement, policymakers, industry leaders, and civil society, the session will showcase best practices and concrete measures to protect vulnerable groups and build resilient systems that prioritize online safety.

Expected Outcomes
By the end of this session, attendees are expected to have a common understanding of practices and strategies for combating disinformation and misinformation and enhancing online safety. Participants will gain actionable insights into fostering international collaboration, strengthening public-private partnerships, and implementing effective regulatory and technological measures to achieve online safety.
Hybrid Format: 1- We will integrate live Q&A sessions where both onsite and online attendees can submit questions via the platform.
2- The session will be designed to be dynamic, alternating between short presentations and interactive segments. This will ensure that both onsite and online participants remain engaged. Regular breaks for Q&A will encourage ongoing participation.
3- we are planning to use "Mentimeter" tool for interactive quizzes or audience feedback, allowing for live participation from both online and onsite groups in a fun and engaging way.
