    Format description: Understanding technical and legislative backgrounds require not only talking but also using slides. That require desks to write down notes for participants. Also, it requires both presentation time for multiple aspects as well as discussion time. That's why the session requires 90 minutes.
    Policy Question(s)
    a. How are national and international laws applied in cyberspace in the context of preventing access to certain Web or other type of sites? b. How do current cross-border data flow frameworks address the legitimate needs of law enforcement to access digital evidence when end-to-end encryption is used? c. Is there a solution that fulfills law enforcement agencies' requirement and civil liberty or privacy of an Internet user?
    What will participants gain from attending this session? What are the issues and where should be solved.

    Description:

    There is legislative pressure to regulate certain type of communication through Internet to protect kids or to prevent crime. On the other hand, the proposed legislation often contains to limit free flow of information. This session illuminates various aspects between stakeholder groups then brings to discussion.
    Expected Outcomes
    A publication and/or follow-up discussion.
    Hybrid Format: a. Having both onsite and remote moderators to encourage both onsite and remote participation. b. Let both onsite and remote moderators promote questions and comments from participants. c. Using a meeting timer, and sharing URLs for presentations shown during the session.
