    Description:

    In today’s global digital economy, creating trusted, inclusive, secure, and interoperable digital identities is essential for equitable access to services and economic opportunities. This workshop aims to highlight that every individual, regardless of geographic location, economic status, or technological proficiency, has right to access to a secure and verifiable digital ID through breaking down key elements that needs to be implemented in order to achieve that such as harmonized regulations and technical standards.
    Expected Outcomes
    By the end of this workshop, attendees are expected to have a common understanding about the importance of having a globally recognized digital ID and the key enablers for its implementation. Moreover, attendees might be involved in further discussions about the same topic.
    Hybrid Format: 1- We will integrate live Q&A sessions where both onsite and online attendees can submit questions via the platform. 2- The session will be designed to be dynamic, alternating between short presentations and interactive segments. This will ensure that both onsite and online participants remain engaged. Regular breaks for Q&A will encourage ongoing participation. 3- we are planning to use "Mentimeter" tool for interactive quizzes or audience feedback, allowing for live participation from both online and onsite groups in a fun and engaging way.
