Juuso Moisander is the Technology and Digital Counsellor at the Permanent Mission of Finland in Geneva.
Juuso started working with the follow-up phase of WSIS in 2008, representing Finland in various fora in internet governance processes. Committed to advance the multistakeholder governance model in Finland, he co-founded and later chaired for a number of years their national IGF, the Finnish Internet Forum.
With background in trade policy, Juuso possesses over two decades' experience of trade in digital technology goods and services.
In 2017, Juuso joined the Embassy of Finland in Washington, D.C., where he served as the Head of Trade and Economic Section. He has also worked as a Seconded National Expert at the Delegation of the European Union to the United States, advancing the Transatlantic trade relation.
Juuso Moisander holds an M.Sc. in Public Administration and Economics from the University of Umea, Sweden. His mother tongue is Finnish, in addition he speaks Swedish and English fluently and has a working knowledge of French, Spanish and German.
