Salanieta Tamanikaiwaimaro is the Founder and Executive Director of Pasifika Nexus. She is also the President of the South Pacific Computer Society and a member of the Executive Council of the South East Asia Computer Confederation (SEARCC).   She is an Attorney at Law and is admitted to the High Court of Fiji. She is a member of two organisations (SPaCS) and PICISOC that are accredited At Large Structures within ICANN. She is the World Summit Award (WSA) Mobile Expert for the following Pacific states Fiji, Kiribati, Nauru, Marshall Islands, Palau, Samoa, Tonga, Tuvalu, Federated States of Micronesia, Solomon Islands. She is on the Advisory Council of BrightPath Foundation.

She previously served on ICANN's At Large Advisory Committee (ALAC) and was co-coordinator of the Civil Internet Governance Caucus (IGC). She was also the inaugural chair of the Fiji Cyber Security Working Group and now serves in advisory capacity when called upon. She resides in Suva, Fiji.
