IGF 2025 Parliamentary Track

Alishah is Policy and Public Affairs Lead at Nominet - the .UK internet registry - where she leads domestic and international work on policy and regulation, including in areas such as cyber security, online safety and internet governance. She also acts as the Secretariat for the UK Internet Governance Forum, helping drive forward the annual programme with the support of the UK IGF Multistakeholder Advisory Committee, and is part of the Secretariat for a Technical Community Coalition for Multistakeholderism, a coalition of technical operators from across the globe advocating for an evolved and strengthened multistakeholder approach to Internet governance.

Prior to working at Nominet, Alishah spent ten years in the UK Civil Service working in a mix of communications, policy and stakeholder outreach roles. Most recently she worked at the UK Department for Science, Innovation and Technology, where she focused on online safety issues. She holds a degree in Modern and Medieval Languages from the University of Cambridge.
